"Paneless" Comprehensive Insurance Scheme

"Paneless" Comprehensive Insurance Scheme is for glass and glazing companies who are registered with QANW or other members of the Guarantee Insurance Association.

 

The “PANELESS” insurance scheme has been designed for fabricators and installers within the double glazing industry by FRD Risk Solutions.

 

We have a comprehensive knowledge of the Insurance requirements of a number of trade sectors.  The “Paneless” scheme for the glass and glazing sector provides comprehensive cover, competitive premiums and interest free instalments for the core scheme covers.

A valuable part of the scheme is a free review of your Health & Safety and/or Employment policies and procedures following the completion of a simple questionnaire.

CORE SCHEME COVERS
PROPERTY
Covers Buildings, Contents, Computers, Machinery, Stock and Tools Cover.

BUSINESS INTERRUPTION

Provides cover for loss of profit as a result of property damage by an insured event. Cover can also be provided for increased costs following an insured event.

MONEY (INCLUDING PERSONAL ACCIDENT/ASSAULT BENEFITS)

Provides cover for cash in transit as well as on the premises or in the homes of Directors.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT

Provides cover for defined benefits following an accident at work.

EMPLOYERS’ LIABILITY

This Insurance is required by law and provides cover for your Legal Liability in respect of death, bodily injury or disease to any employee which may arise during the course of employment by you.

PUBLIC/PRODUCTS LIABILITY

Provides cover for your Legal Liability to third parties and customers resulting from your business activities.  Unlike most insurance policies for the sector cover is automatically included for financial losses incurred by your customers as a result of items you supply or install not being fit for purpose.

CONTRACT WORKS

Cover for loss or damage to windows/doors/conservatories until completed and handed over to your customer (options to insure own plant/hired plant/employees’ tools).

GOODS IN TRANSIT
Provides cover for loss/damage to materials in transit.

OPTIONAL COVERS
FIDELITY GUARANTEE (THEFT BY EMPLOYEES)
Provides cover for loss of money or your goods (including customers’ money/goods) resulting from an act of dishonesty by one of your employees.

 

LEGAL EXPENSES

Provides cover for access to legal advice and legal representation at any hearing resulting from breaches in Health & Safety law and property disputes.  Cover can also be extended to include employment disputes, tenancy disputes, tax, VAT and Inland Revenue disputes.

BOOK DEBTS

Covers your inability to collect outstanding accounts following damage to your business records.

ENGINEERING

Provides cover for sudden and unforeseen damage (including breakdown and explosion) to all electrical machinery and mechanical plant.

DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS

Cover to protect directors, staff and employees in a managerial or supervisory capacity for an alleged wrongful act resulting in financial loss.

MOTOR INSURANCE

Cover for single vehicles to large fleets, including Uninsured Loss Recovery Service.
